Hey, this is me! Taimane (“tie-mah-nay” it means “diamond” in Samoan). Born and raised on Oahu, Hawai’i and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Here in Hawai’i it isn’t uncommon for us to be mixed; I’m part Japanese, Hawaiian, Samoan, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, Ukrainian and so much more. I know, it’s crazy lol. But, that’s what Hawai’i is all about! Sharing our beautiful islands with the world.
I am soooo not a home body and crave to get out and create. I thrive off of inspiration, moods and passion.
Being a photographer and creator for about 5 years now, I’ve met so many amazing people, now friends, from around the world and had an immediate connection! It still gets me every single time someone chooses me to take their photos. To capture such special and precious moments in their life for them to take home and cherish forever. I still get butterflies every time I drive to my sessions because of the excitement I have to document people’s life stories.
I want the real you. Let’s capture your laughs, tears and all of those raw emotions in between. I’m all for those who aren’t afraid to get down and dirty and those who care more about candids rather than posed. If this sounds like you, then I’m here for ya!
